I’ve been pondering it for a few years now, but something has been holding me back. To be honest I was full of concern, concerned about letting someone else do my work, concerned about actually going through the process of choosing and communication with someone the other side of the world. You see I don’t get out much and can be a tad shy at times J so I really thought this was beyond my capabilities, well not beyond my capabilities but definitely out of my comfort zone.
You see ever since I made the decision to increase my exposure online and to dedicate most of my waking hours to creating traffic and building a mailing list I have had this massive to do list, which never, ever got any shorter and I have recently found myself waking up in the small hours with the list swirling around in my head!
So enough is enough I thought, all the other people I know or read about who make their living online are outsourcing, it’s about time I got with the program.
I’m not one for woo woo stuff but some sort of synchronicity was in play here, well that’s what a lot of people I know would call it. I call it just plain coincidence. I watched an interview with Michael Dunlop the other day and he mentioned a company in the US called TaskUs.com who manage your outsourcing for you. Perfect!
I immediately went to their site and signed up for their special offer and submitted a couple of tasks within about 15 minutes.
The next morning in my inbox was confirmation of my task etc. AND a personal email from Jed, my new account administrator. Jed welcomed me and told me he will be looking after my account. He was open and honest about what they can and can’t do, which made me feel even more comfortable about the whole thing.
