I’ve just come across a simple little Firefox addon which reveals the SEO score of your site through an easy to understand scoring system. Not only that the SEO Doctor will offer great suggestions on how to improve your SEO score based on official recommendations from Google and such like.

You would think that with my knowledge my score would be 100/100 but to my horror I only scored 82! The great thing about this add on is that it tells you why. Firstly i had too many links on my page, secondly my title tag had too many characters in it AND the less said about my metadescription the better! It just goes to show that this stuff needs checking and checking again to make sure you have not missed anything out.
This basic optimisation is SO important to your findability on Google etc so download this add on now to see how your website shapes up.
